first few days ... the hostel scenario ..

the first few days in the hostel were full of discussion about ragging ..
everyone was terrorized about ragging ..
when will it happen
kya kya hoga
kya kya karwaenge
...
kapde to nahi utarwaaenge ..
some wud say .. mai to nahi utaarne waala .. aisa kya kuch kar lenge .. jaan se thode he maar denge ..
everyone was afraid but still everyone showed that they are not afraid ..
some brave ones ... wud say .. mai to aisi ragging dunga unki fat jaaegi ..

the days were full of discussion about ragging ragging and ragging ..
meanwhile we all came to know each other ..
every one would boast about himself .. his great deeds etc etc ..

the atmosphere was full of tension and everyday u can hear some rumour ( though some where tru) ki aaj uski ragging hui .. aaj kisi aur ki ..

also this was the time when we became familiar with all the short forms .. the concept of "muski", 90, tech father etc ..
some most famous short forms include
VT -- for the vishwanath temple in campus..
LC -- the famous limbdi corner .. yahaan ki jaan.. samose ki dukaan
HG -- hyderabad gate .. nearest gate to freedom (:P)
Lanka -- was the area where main gate was located ..

also the concept of tech father ..
tech father is a some one's direct seniour .
and u can hear all sorts of stories tera baap aisa hai
tera baap waise hai etc etc

regarding muski ...
muski ke baare mai na jaano to behtar ..
and 90 .. u will come to know .. ask any engineering student :)

so in short .. everyone was enthusiastic but afraid :) whether they accept or deny
